Preheat oven to 375 F degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
In a larger separate bowl, mix the sugar and butter and beat for a couple minutes until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla extract and continue mixing until fully mixed.
Add the dry ingredients and mix for an additional 2 minutes. Take the dough and form it into a ball.
Make balls out of the dough and place evenly spaced on a cookie sheet. Using the bottom of a glass, press the balls down into thick discs.
Bake the cookie for about 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden. Let cool completely.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt two Brach’s® Chocolate Oranges that have been broken open. Melt them at 50% power, first for 1 minute and then for 15 second increments, stirring each time, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Dip cookies 1 at a time until coated as desired and place on parchment paper until the chocolate is cooled and firm. Optional: before chocolate cools, sprinkle seasonal decorations on them to make them more festive.
