Milk Maid® Caramel Brownies

Ingredients
1 box fudge brownie mix (plus ingredients per instructions on box)
14 oz of Brach’s® Milk Maid® Caramels
¼ cup heavy cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 9”x 9” baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray; set aside.
In heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt unwrapped caramels with cream until smooth.
Prepare brownie mix according to instructions on the box; spread 2/3 of batter evenly in pan.
Pour 2/3 of melted caramel over brownie batter evenly.
Cover caramel with remaining batter.
Bake 35-40 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Re-heat remaining caramel mixture until smooth; pour over top of baked brownies.
Let cool – for several hours – until completely cool.
To slice, grab “handles” of foil and remove from pan. Carefully peel back foil; slice into 16 even squares. Keep tightly wrapped up to 4 days at room temperature.
