Conversation Heart Cereal Treats

Ingredients
20 regular size marshmallows
2 Tbls unsalted butter
½ tsp kosher salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups frosted oat cereal with marshmallow bits
Directions
Line 8” or 9” square pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper, leaving 2” overhangs on all sides and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
In large saucepan, melt marshmallows, butter and salt over medium-low heat until smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Add cereal and stir until completely coated.
Quickly spread mixture into prepared pan; press evenly with greased hands to compact.
Working quickly while mixture is still warm, press conversation hearts into top of treats, evenly spacing to allow 1 conversation heart per bar (4 across, 4 down.) Let cool 30 minutes.
Using foil overhangs as handles, remove treats from pan and cut into 16 bars. Store tightly covered.
